About Career Path with Katalina
On Career Path with Katalina, we dive into dynamic discussions on career advancement, mixing expert industry perspectives with innovative strategies to elevate your professional journey. The idea for this podcast emerged from two main observations about existing career and industry content:
1. Much of the content comes from a top-down structure where top executives share their experiences. While this offers valuable advice, it often feels one-sided and may not resonate with or apply to individuals at different stages of their career journey.
2. Much of the content is also predominantly male-dominated. As the workforce becomes increasingly diverse, we want to ensure that all voices and career stories are represented.
With Career Path with Katalina, we aim to provide a fresh perspective by showcasing career development from my viewpoint as I navigate the early stages of my career by seeking guidance from experienced industry experts, leaders, innovators, and visionaries.Â
Through these conversations, we hope to bridge the gap between emerging talent and seasoned professionals, empowering listeners at all career levels with practical advice and inspiration for their own professional growth.

Katalina Dawson is a young professional currently in the role of Executive Vice President at Branding Arc, a marketing company dedicated to the receivables industry. While she has an extensive background in marketing, she is still a very new player in the receivables arena and is dedicated to developing a strong career.Â
Outside of her experience in marketing, Katalina has a very unique career path including working as a professional magician in Las Vegas, acting/modeling, and performing as a rent-a-princess for children’s parties. Outside of work, Katalina is passionate about horseback riding, writing, and paleontology.
